BITSAT is the computer-based entrance test for admission to BITS Pilani, BITS Goa and BITS Hyderabad — India's leading private deemed universities for engineering.

COMEDK UGET is a single computer-based test accepted by a large consortium of private engineering colleges in Karnataka, including well-known names like RVCE, BMSCE and MSRIT.

IAT is the entrance exam for the 5-year BS-MS dual degree program at the IISERs (Pune, Kolkata, Mohali, Bhopal, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Berhampur) — a strong option for students interested in research-oriented science careers.

JEE Advanced is the sole entrance exam for admission to the 23 IITs. Only the top ~2.5 lakh JEE Main qualifiers (across categories) are eligible to attempt it. It consists of two compulsory papers on the same day.

JEE Main is the gateway exam for admission to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, and is also the mandatory qualifier for JEE Advanced (IITs). Held over two sessions, your best score across sessions is considered.

NEST is the entrance exam for the 5-year integrated MSc programs in basic sciences at NISER Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (CEBS), Mumbai — both premier institutes for science research careers.

NFAT is NFSU's own entrance exam for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate programs in forensic science, criminology, cyber security, behavioural science and law, across its Gandhinagar campus and other NFSU campuses.

SRMJEEE is SRM's own entrance test for B.Tech admission across its Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Delhi-NCR, Amaravati and Sikkim campuses.

UGEE is IIIT Hyderabad's own entrance exam, offered as an alternative admission route to its B.Tech programs (including the well-known Computer Science and Computational Linguistics tracks) alongside the JEE-based route.

VITEEE is VIT's own computer-based entrance exam for its B.Tech programs across the Vellore, Chennai, Amaravati and Bhopal campuses.

WBJEE is the state-level entrance exam for engineering, pharmacy and architecture admission across West Bengal, including state-quota seats at institutes like Jadavpur University and IIEST Shibpur.
