Overview
NIT Nagaland was established in 2009 (began academic operations in 2010) as one of ten new NITs approved under India's 11th Five-Year Plan. It moved to its permanent 291-acre campus in Chumukedima, near Dimapur, in 2012. As one of the youngest NITs, it is still developing its infrastructure and placement ecosystem.
