Overview
Established in 1963 as Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra, a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Haryana, it was converted into a National Institute of Technology with Deemed University status in 2002 and became an Institute of National Importance in 2008. The 300-acre campus is located near the historic city of Kurukshetra.
