IIT Goa was established in 2016 as a second-generation IIT, mentored by IIT Bombay during its formative years (2016-2020). It currently operates from a temporary campus shared with Goa College of Engineering at Farmagudi, Ponda, while its permanent ~320-acre campus at Rivona, South Goa is under construction. Admission
