Established in 2013 under the PPP model and mentored by MNIT Jaipur, IIIT Kota ran its academic programs from MNIT Jaipur's campus for a decade. It shifted to its own 100-acre permanent campus at Ranpur, Kota in August 2023, and all classes have been held there since August 2024.
